Reference Sires
These Sires have been part of the breeding program at Anderson Ridge, here are some reference photos and information you can use when researching pedigrees and breeding lines.
ZEUS DONN OF ANDERSON RIDGE
Home grown, we are very pleased and impressed with how "ZD" has matured. Classic blocky Highland head with prominent masculine horns. He's got the right ingredients to improve feet and udders. We will be using him for the next couple of breeding seasons, then consider having straws available and/or selling.
COMOLEA'S ZUES
Zues is a calm tempered brindle. Lab tested negative for crop ear. He passed on his beautiful horns and easy going nature to his calves and good feet into his 13th year. Zues always enjoyed a good brushing.
CONALL OF WILLOW GLEN
A red bull out of Willow Glen Farm, used for 1 year here at Anderson Ridge when he was 8 years old.
WILLOW CREEK DAMIEN
A Dun bull with Sunset and Rocky Spring pedigree in his lineage. Used one year as an 8 year old at Anderson Ridge
ZEUS OF ANDERSON RIDGE
Pictured at 20 months old at right. Zeus exceeding all his peers at weening by over 100 lbs, his Dam is from the Maple Lea/Lyon's Pride breeding program and a descendant of MAPLE LEA GRAND DUKE.
